summury of " The Allegory of the Cave"

In the text “Plato/ The Allegory of the Cave(The Republic, Book VII,)” Socrates talks his pupil an allegory. Socrates says that there are prisoners captured in a cave, and they believe that reflections from sunlight or fire behind them are real. Echo from their own voice make them believe those reflections are real animals. When one of prisoners is released, he saw whole new world out of the cave. He realized that this new world is real, and the world back in the cave was illusion. He backed to the cave to notice this discovery to others. However, they did not believe him. This story explains that it is difficult to accept the truth which totally opposite from what you believed.

  1. You clearly stated the main idea and the supporting details. You very much didn’t include unimportant ideas and your summary was well written briefly in your own words with no wrong miss spelling or styling errors but with grammar. Your summary does retain the sense of the original passage without your personal experience.
Very Nice well written summary, I liked how you end it with that very strong line to clean up your summary while giving a lesson base on the article. But maybe you want to elaborate more meaning give more supporting details and describe the setting so I could actually get a visual as to what they was seeing. But oher than that, real good work !
